Innocence attracts the blackest of evil - and as a seemingly endless spate of unaccountable child disappearances terrorize the otherwise peaceful early-1960s community of rain-soaked Derry, Maine - a bold septet of pre-teen school pariahs, or The Losers' Club, pluck up the courage to confront head-on the violent clown-like shape-shifter who lives in their grim visions: Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Tim Curry). Now, nearly three peaceful decades after the horrific encounter with the malevolent demon, the hesitant members of The Losers' Club find themselves before a dreadful obligation: to honor their promise, and return to Derry, after the brutal slaughtering of yet another sinless victim. Has the pitiless entity returned from the shadows of oblivion to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting town? Will The Losers Club delve deep into the fundamental fears of their far-off childhood to stop once and for all the nightmarish thing they call "It"? - Nick Riganas

A series of murders prompts Mike Hanlon (Tim Reid) to suspect that the supernatural menace that he and a group of friends battled as children has returned. He begins to call his friends to remind them of the oath they swore: if It returned again, they would come back to Derry to do battle again. - Murray Chapman

Most of which revolve around a clown called "Pennywise" (Tim Curry), in which they all admit being real, the kids eventually discover that the leader of the club, Bill's little brother, fell victim to this evil. The group sets out to stop the force and put it to rest once and for all. Thirty years after defeating "It", Mike Hanlon (Tim Reid), the only Member who remained in Derry, is suspecting that "It" has returned and is forced to call back all of "The Losers' Club", due to a promise they all made to return if its evil should ever resurface. Uncovering new powers, clues, and evil, the club reunites as adults and come face-to-face with the evil that has haunted and fed on Derry for the last few centuries. - Yas
